No Plan

In 2017 my plan to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ was to have no plan. I literally showed up on the street, asking God to open doors and provide opportunities to minister to people in need.

I asked you to pray with me and you did!

Together we unlocked the greatest power in the universe – the love of God.

Light in The Darkness

Fueled by your prayers and encouragement hundreds learned, some for the first time, that God loves them, died for them on the Cross and calls them to repent of their sin. They learned that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death.

They learned that upon their physical death here on earth, they will live on eternally, either with God or alienated from Him, where Jesus says, “There is only weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

They learned that God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world but that through Him the world might be saved!

Together we brought light to the darkness, hope to the hopeless, joy to the depressed.

Thank you for your partnership!

I Didn’t Expect That

A few things happened I didn’t expect. I met a man who told me that God spoke to him in a dream that He was giving him one last chance to repent of his sin, a woman told me she’d watched me minister to people on the street from her storefront and a young boy, starving for attention, asked to join me share the Gospel, though I was a perfect stranger.

Profound Lesson

Through all of this I learned a profound lesson; showing up is the hardest part.

To underscore this point I quote the Apostle Paul who wrote in Ephesians 2:10,

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

That’s what I did this year. I showed up and walked in the good works God prepared for me; nothing more, nothing less.

Looking Forward

My plan for 2018? You guessed it, no plan at all. I’m going to show up for service again and again. I can’t wait to walk in the good works God has prepared.

To God Be The Glory Forever, Amen!
